Stroom Long-Tail

The Stroom Long-Tail, currently in testing, is an approachable yet full-featured cargo bike that can be customised for transporting children, courier services, and food vending. The Long-Tail is often favoured by novice riders due to its easy-going geometry and steady handling. This unit is currently being tested by the team of Môre Môre, the Stellenbosch e-Cargo Pilot Project.

Front Cargo
A standard accessory on the Long-Tail, the Front Cargo Plate allows all kinds of cargo to be strapped down onto a bamboo board.
Cargo Box
This configuration is typically used for couriers and who need a lockable box. The sliding lid provides a useful extra surface for sorting content and doing documentation for deliveries. The box is made from lightweight Alupanel.
School Runner
A padded seat and safety cage can be fitted to the Long-Tail for school runs and transporting kids around town. Typically two children between the ages of 6 and 10 can comfortably be carried by the Long-Tail.
